Champion Marine SAM naît de la rencontre entre Jacky Ickx, légende de la course automobile, et Tullio Abbate, constructeur italien de bateaux et pilote nautique renommé. Ensemble, ils fondent une entreprise dédiée à la distribution des bateaux Tullio Abbate pour Monaco et la Côte d'Azur, au 9 avenue J.F. Kennedy.Champion Marine SAM was born from the meeting of Jacky Ickx, a legend of motorsport, and Tullio Abbate, renowned Italian boat builder and powerboat racer. Together they founded a company dedicated to distributing Tullio Abbate boats across Monaco and the French Riviera, at 9 avenue J.F. Kennedy.Champion Marine SAM nasce dall'incontro tra Jacky Ickx, leggenda dell'automobilismo, e Tullio Abbate, costruttore italiano di barche e rinomato pilota di offshore. Insieme fondano un'azienda dedicata alla distribuzione delle imbarcazioni Tullio Abbate per Monaco e la Costa Azzurra, al 9 avenue J.F. Kennedy.

Giacomo Sacchi, petit-fils de Tullio Abbate, rejoint l'équipe Champion Marine. Porté par la même passion que son grand-père, il s'engage en compétition nautique de haut niveau en tant que pilote du Championnat du Monde F2, reconnu par l'UIM.Giacomo Sacchi, Tullio Abbate's grandson, joins the Champion Marine team. Driven by the same passion as his grandfather, he competes at the highest level as a pilot in the UIM-recognised F2 World Championship.Giacomo Sacchi, nipote di Tullio Abbate, entra a far parte del team Champion Marine. Over time, Champion Marine has developed a comprehensive approach to the boating experience: the sale of new and second-hand boats, maintenance and refit (with shipyards in France and Italy), operational and financial management, and administrative and technical support.

The aim: to enable every customer to sail with peace of mind and complete confidence. With over 35 years of long-standing partnerships, Champion Marine is now one of Monaco’s longest-established yachting agencies.

From racing to luxury yachting

In 2022, Giacomo Sacchi, Tullio Abbate’s grandson, joined the Champion Marine team. Driven by the same passion as his grandfather, he made a brilliant start to his career in top-level motorboat racing as a driver in the F2 World Championship, recognised by the UIM (Union Internationale Motonautique).

This dual role — as both a top-level skipper and a manager — gives Champion Marine a unique expertise: a deep understanding of how high-performance boats behave, which it puts at the service of a clientele that demands the very best.
